Welcome to My Blog!
Welcome to my blog. Here I will share top tips, new work and ongoing projects.
As a mixed media and glass artist, my artistic journey has been one of lifelong love and dedication. My formative years at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I pursued Three Dimensional Design, laid the foundation for my boundless passion for glass and design.
Both the delicacy and the resilience of glass have always captivated me. Its ability to refract light, to hold both transparency and opacity, makes it a material of exquisite potential. Through my work, I seek to delve into unexplored territories, pushing the boundaries and blurring lines between various mediums.
I strive to breathe life into my creations, transforming mere imagination into tangible reality. My work draws inspiration from individual and collective stories and memories. I believe that art has the power to transcend boundaries, to evoke emotions, and to ignite conversations. It is this belief that fuels my passion and drives me to create art that resonates deeply with viewers. By evoking memories and eliciting curiosity, and introspection, I hope to invite viewers to contemplate their own interpretations and perspectives.
Beyond my individual body of work, I am driven by a deep-rooted passion to connect with the broader community. Embracing public art as a means of engagement, I strive to captivate and inspire individuals from all walks of life. Whether it be through large-scale installations or site specific works of art, I aim to enhance communal spaces, evoking a sense of wonder, unity, and creativity that resonates with both locals and visitors alike. Moreover, I firmly believe in the transformative power of art in improving well-being. Recognizing the inherent therapeutic qualities of artistic expression, I am committed to delivering arts for well-being programs to groups across the North. These initiatives provide a safe, nurturing environment for individuals to tap into their creativity, fostering personal growth, self-discovery, and mental wellness.
